Thinking of becoming a midwife? This class was created to wade through the confusion of websites, regulations and laws, giving you enough information to make a truely informed choice for your midwifery education. 

Together we walk through the entire process from choosing a midwifery program, learn the national and local midwifery organizations, all the way to taking your NARM exam and applying to California for your license. 


Treesa Mclean, LM

Treesa Mclean, LM is a midwife, and midwifery educator She is an approved preceptor at a number of midwifery programs. She has done extensive research on all of the midwifery programs approved by California, and the laws and regulations governing midwives in California. She is on the board of California Families for Access to Midwives, and has worked on midwifery legislation.
